This twelve - day tour is included the most highlights of Vietnam. You will be starting from Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam including countless cultural sites itself for over 1000 years. Next, you will discover Ha Long Bay - the UNESCO Heritage site and one of new 7 wonders of nature. Visiting to Hue, the old capital during Nguyen’s Dynasty before leaving for Hoi An Ancient Town, where used to be the major trading port in 17th – 18th century. Next destination is the bustling Ho Chi Minh City, mixed both modern and historical sites through its buildings. Last but not least, enjoying a journey to the Mekong Delta where the colorful floating markets, fruit gardens and local family-run factories can be seen.

Day 1: Pick up at Noi Bai AIrport and transfer to hotel in Hanoi for check in and overnight.

Day 3: Depart for Ha Long Bay through the Red River Delta. Touring and overnight on Junk.

Day 4: Visiting Ha Long Bay on Junk. After that, transferring to Noi Bai airport for flight to Hue. Overnight in Hue

Day 6: Drive from Hue to Hoi An. Stop for visiting Danang City on the way. Overnight in Hoi An

DAY 01 – 21 DEC: HANOI ARRIVAL

Hanoi is not only the capital of Vietnam but also one of the most beautiful cities in Asia. This city has an oldest historic for over 1000 years includes a countless of cultural sites such as: pagodas, charming lakes and bustling old quarter where many handicraft workshops has. Upon arrival in Noi Bai airport you will be met by our representative and transfer to your hotel for check-in. After that, you will enjoy a welcome dinner at a nice restaurant in city. Enjoy your first night in Hanoi.

DAY 02 – 22 DEC: HANOI ORIENTATION

You’ll have the whole day with our guide to explore Hanoi with the visits to the Temple of Literature - the first university in Vietnam dating back to the 11th century, Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum together with Ba Dinh Square where Ho Chi Minh delivered the Declaration of Independence of the Republic of Vietnam in 1945. It’s a great chance to step in Ho Chi Minh stilt house where he lived and worked, and the museum dedicated to his memory.

After lunch, you’ll call in at the serene Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in Hanoi, on the banks of Hanoi’s Ho Tay (West) Lake, and the bustling Old Quarter, where maze of shopping streets and restaurants with a hotchpotch of architecture - traditional tube houses, religious buildings, artisans’ workshops and cottages, colonial houses and modern concrete edifices. It’s noisy and hectic, but definitely a ‘must-see’ attraction. In the evening, you’ll have tickets for a performance of traditional Water Puppetry (an art form unique to northern Vietnam, and an interesting, light-hearted introduction to its rural culture). Your overnight stay will be in Hanoi.

DAY 03 – 23 DEC: HANOI - HA LONG BAY & TOUR WITH OVERNIGHT JUNK

Today, you’ll leave for Ha Long Bay, one of the most spectacular UNESCO World Heritage Areas and the world’s largest marine limestone ‘karst’ landscape. There you’ll board your boat, a junk built from the model of the old Vietnamese court vessels with sails, a wide transom and rectangular superstructure, that takes you through Bai Tu Long Bay area. You’ll then continue your cruise to visit a fishing village where you’ll have an opportunity explore the village and hidden lagoons in a tender. The route is designed to avoid the busy areas and includes a very quiet location for your overnight stay. All your meals will be provided on board, usually based on fresh seafood, and you’ll sleep in a twin/double cabin with an en suite toilet and shower.

DAY 04 – 24 DEC: HA LONG BAY – HANOI – HUE

After a light breakfast pastry and tea or coffee, you’ll dock to visit one of the most famous caves in the Bay. You’ll return to the junk for a brunch while cruising back to dock around noon and meet up guide and driver for a drive back to Hanoi then take the flight to Hue. This city was the old capital of Vietnam from 1802 - 1945 under the control of Nguyen’s dynasty. Hue nowadays is still keeping many historic sites of Nguyen’s Dynasty with its Imperial Palace, Pagodas and King’s tombs.

Upon arrival, you will be picked up by our guide and transferred to hotel in Hue for check-in. Enjoying the rest of your day free at leisure.

DAY 05 – 25 DEC: DISCOVERY HUE ANCIENT KINGDOM

Your morning will be taken up by a Cycles Rickshaw tour to the Thien Mu Pagoda and the Imperial Citadel of Hue. Four citadels were comprised to create the Capital City: Hoang Thanh for royal palaces and shrines, Tu Cam Thanh (Forbidden Purple City) for royal residences, Dai Noi (Inner city) and Tran Binh Dai, which exclusively ancient architecture. Your lunch will be served at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, you will drive to the Royal Tombs of Emperor Minh Mang and Emperor Khai Dinh. These two mausoleums span the long reign of the Nguyen King’s imperial dynasty – the contrast is stark. In the evening, you’ll sit down for dinner in the pleasant surroundings and a comfortable atmosphere of another of the garden houses. You’ll spend the night in Hue.

DAY 06- 26 DEC: HUE – DANANG - HOI AN

You’ll leave for Hue today to get to Danang and Hoi an. On the way, you'll cross the high mountain pass of Hai Van. The views from the top are excellent. In Danang, you’ll have a brief look at the remarkable Hindu statuary in the Cham Museum before leaving for Hoi An.

After arrival in Hoi An, you will check-in hotel and enjoy your rest of day free at leisure with many shop-houses in town. You will spend the night in Hoi An.

DAY 07 – 27 DEC: HOI AN ANCIENT TOWN

Hoi An is well-known as a major trading port in Southeast Asia back in 17-18th century and this place was welcomed many countries from the world to come and trading their goods during the time. Not only selling and buying things, Japanese and Chinese left their marks in this town by built up many old houses and pagodas which have very special structures. These sites of cultural through years were mixed with Vietnamese culture of local people and made Hoi An became more and more unique as a must-see place in Vietnam.

You’ll enjoy a walking tour explores Hoi An Ancient Town including the visiting to the 400 years old Japanese Bridge, Chinese communal hall – Phuc Kien Pagoda, the oldest house – Tan Ky and the colorful local market of Hoi An and enjoying the rest of day free at leisure at Cua Dai beach or getting busy with shopping at many shop-houses in the town. You will spend your night at hotel in Hoi An.

DAY 08 – 28 DEC: HOI AN – DANANG AND FLIGHT TO HO CHI MINH CITY

Your time will be your own until your guide and driver meets at hotel and transfer to Danang Airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh City, also known as Saigon is a largest city of Vietnam where has modern office skyscrapers, amidst Chinese style pagodas and food stalls along the street, create a dynamic urban area in very special sense. Additionally, Ho Chi Minh City’s architecture and lifestyle is the reconciliation between American and Chinese influence, with many dots of modernity yet without losing Vietnamese traits and as much historical as it is modern.

Arriving at Tan Son Nhat airport in Ho Chi Minh City, meet up your guide and driver and transfer to your hotel for check-in. You’ll spend the night in Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 09 – 29 DEC: HO CHI MINH CITY

You start the day by visiting to the Reunification Hall, the Centre Post Office, one of the oldest buildings in Ho Chi Minh City. It was built around 1886 – 1891, based on the design of Gustave Eiffel – a famous French architect and has become a significant symbol of the city, just like its opposite neighbour Notre-Dame Cathedral. Next, the War Remnants Museum provides a very partial, but riveting, perspective of the ‘American War’: not for the squeamish! Before enjoying the lunch at a restaurant, visit to the huge Ben Thanh market, one of the liveliest areas of Ho Chi Minh City, is packed with every conceivable commodity.

Starting the afternoon city tour with the FITO Museum, (First Museum of Traditional Vietnamese Medicine) is host to a large collection of relics, including traditional Vietnamese medicinal implements, and chronicles the history of medical practice in Vietnam from 2000 BC. After that, drive to Binh Tay Market, located in Chinatown and the Jade Emperor Temple; it’s one of the best Taoist temples in Vietnam, with superb effigies, remarkable carved panels of the descent to Hell and somewhat incongruous terrapin and tortoise sanctuaries. You will spend tonight in Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 10 – 30 DEC: MEKONG DELTA

After escaping from Ho Chi Minh City’s urban sprawl, you’ll travel to Vinh Long where a Mekong River cruise will take you to visit the fruit orchards, a traditional family-run brick kiln, and some long established cottage industries. After lunch at a local restaurant, you’ll drive further into the Mekong Delta to Can Tho. Upon arrival you’ll call in at the Munir Ansay – an ancient Khmer style pagoda, renowned for its unique structural decorations. You’ll spend the night in Can Tho.

DAY 11 – 01 JAN: RETURNING HO CHI MINH CITY FROM MEKONG DELTA

After an early breakfast, enjoy a boat cruise to see the Cai Rang floating market on the Mekong River. Both of the journey and the market provide insights into the rural Mekong Delta lifestyle. After lunch at local restaurant, return to Ho Chi Minh City, you’ll call in at the beautiful and ancient Vinh Trang pagoda, which is renowned for its architectural mixture of Chinese, Vietnamese and Angkor styles.

You’ll arrive in Ho Chi Minh City in the late afternoon with time to freshen up in the hotel.

DAY 12 – 02 JAN: HO CHI MINH CITY DEPARTURE

After the breakfast, you will be met and transferred to Tan Son Nhat airport for your departure flight.
