This five-day tour will be starting from Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam including countless cultural sites itself for over 1000 years. Next, traveling to Hoa Lu for a boat trip on sampans explore the amazing scenery on the banks of Tam Coc River where has rice paddies and limestone mountains. Last but not least, visit to Duong Lam Village, wandering around this oldest village of Vietnam, meeting and chatting with people here to learn about the history of the land.

Day 1:   Pickup and transfer to hotel in Hanoi.

Day 4:   Sailing the sampan to see beautiful landscapes in Hoa Lu – Tam Coc.

Day 5:   Pickup at hotel and transfer to Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi.


Hanoi is not only the capital of Vietnam but also one of the most beautiful cities in Asia. This city has an oldest historic for over 1000 years includes a countless of cultural sites such as: pagodas, charming lakes and bustling old quarter where many handicraft workshops has. Upon arrival in Noi Bai airport you will be met by our representative and transfer to your hotel for check-in. At night, you will enjoy a welcome dinner at a restaurant in city.

After breakfast at hotel, you’ll have the whole day with our guide to explore Hanoi - Vietnam’s capital city. Your guide will take you to the Temple of Literature also called Quoc Tu Giam - the first university in Vietnam dating back to the 11th century. A next popular attraction, as is Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum together with Ba Dinh Square where Ho Chi Minh delivered the Declaration of Independence of the Republic of Vietnam in 1945. It’s a great chance to step in Ho Chi Minh stilt house where he lived and worked, and the museum dedicated to his memory.

After lunch, you’ll call in at the serene Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in Hanoi, on the banks of Hanoi’s Ho Tay (West) Lake. After that, take a walking tour explore the bustling Old Quarter which also called 36 streets where maze of shopping streets and restaurants with a hotchpotch of architecture - traditional tube houses, religious buildings, artisans’ workshops and cottages, colonial houses and modern concrete edifices. It’s noisy and hectic, but definitely a ‘must-see’ attraction. In the evening, you’ll have tickets for a performance of traditional Water Puppetry (an art form unique to northern Vietnam, and an interesting, light-hearted introduction to its rural culture). You will spend your tonight at hotel in Hanoi.

After breakfast at hotel, you will leave Hanoi and departing for Duong Lam ancient village. Duong Lam, located in the west of Hanoi is old of the oldest villages in Vietnam which has over 1200 years of history. After 1.5-hour driving, you will take the first step into the village and walking around the peaceful village’s paths. Your first visiting will be the Mong Phu in Mong Phu Communal, one of the most important communal houses of the village which not only a gathering place of the villagers in many cultural activities but also special in its sophisticated decoration details. The lunch today will be served in a nice old house in the village.

In the afternoon, you will be guided for a visiting to the Mia Pagoda which built in the 15th century. This pagoda is now very famous with its 287 statues made in many sizes. Next, visit to the Ngo Quyen’s temple and Phung Hung’s temple where dedicated for 2 national heroes who won the victory against the invaders during Duong’s dynasty in China. On the way back to Hanoi, you will stop for a visiting at Tay Phuong pagoda. This pagoda is one of the first pagodas built in Vietnam which has very beautiful architecture and sculpture. After arrival at hotel in Hanoi, you will enjoy your rest of day free at leisure.

After breakfast at hotel, you’ll be picked up and travel to Ninh Binh, where is favoured by the Mother Nature with karsts topography fostered through million years that make the province a Ha Long Bay in land with countless primitive caves, valleys, and submerged mountains which all offer stunning sceneries. Arrival in Hoa Lu, is also known as the first capital of Vietnam feudal centralism regime and the Dai Co Viet's political, economic and cultural centre, you’ll visit two temples, one dedicated to Emperor Dinh and the other in memory of Emperor Le, followed by a brief visit to the remains of the Old Palace.

After lunch at a local restaurant, you’ll sail a sampan on Tam Coc river for a visiting to Trang An, which has become famous for a system of caves, valleys and historical relics. With a chain of natural wonders like Tam Coc, Thai Vi Temple, Bich Dong Pagoda, Fairy cave or Sunny Valley; Tam Coc – Bich Dong is regarded as the second best caves of Vietnam. In the late afternoon, you will transfer back to Hanoi and check in the hotel and enjoy the rest of day free at leisure.
